Bring your motorcycle or ATV to participate in the Ride to Ride Again Poker Run for OHV Safety Week. After checking in at the Main Staging area, this run follows an easy two-mile dirt and gravel route and includes five educational stops for riders to learn and practice the aspects of pre/post mechanical inspections. In addition, riders draw poker chips at each stop to score points for prizes awarded at the end of the run. All riders who finish the run will receive a commemorative finisher patch. Stop by the staging area off Jawbone Cyn Rd. and check out a special outreach booth for OHV safety information, games and prizes. Spin a wheel to win stickers or pressure gauges. Complete an OHV survey to take home a free oil spill kit.

Before hitting the trail, stop by from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and participate in a fun hands-on T-CLOC activity lead by California State Park staff in honor of OHV Safety Week. Bike and ATV riders should stick around from 10:30AM – 12:00PM to join Carnegie's Family Safety Ride at. Discover how you can set yourself, and your loved ones up for a safe ride before hitting the trail. Then explore the hills with Carnegie staff so your whole family can feel confident riding this unique landscape. Be sure to bring your riding gear, water, and sun protection.

Join California State Parks staff at Oceano Dunes SVRA for an interactive OHV Safety Week outreach booth focused on safe and responsible riding. Stop by the booth to learn about OHV safety, explore helpful resources, and participate in a hands-on T-CLOC pre-ride inspection of a mock OHV. Participants can work with park staff to identify common safety and maintenance issues and learn how a quick inspection before every ride can help keep riders and their vehicles safe. Safety information and giveaways will also be available.

Ocotillo Wells 50th Anniversary Celebration
Join California State Parks staff in celebrating 50 years of Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. Meet at Main Street Event facility to hear guest speakers, chat about the park’s history, and learn what the future has in store. Stop by the event booths to learn about OHV safety, available safety resources, and try your hand at the 1:24 scale RC crawler course.
